JOB DESCRIPTION
The Industrial Mechanic at Machitech assembles machine components based on mechanical drawings and performs start-up tests to ensure proper operation. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical systems on industrial cutting equipment while supporting continuous product improvement. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, autonomy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble machine components using mechanical drawings
- Perform start-up tests and machine configuration
- Conduct operational tests, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues
- Participate in product development
- Perform any other related duties
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and/or training in industrial mechanics
- Experience in industrial maintenance or equipment installation (an asset)
- Experience in electricity, industrial electronics, or equipment installation (an asset)
