Press Brake Technician

On the road (Canada, USA)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Press Brake Technician assembles, installs, and services press brake machines. The role includes diagnostics, adjustments, preventive maintenance, operator training, and on-site customer support. The technician works both in the plant and at customer locations, ensuring equipment performance, completing service documentation, and supporting overall production and service operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out all manufacturing steps in the plant, in compliance with established procedures
  • Install new equipment at customer facilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines
  • Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites
  • Adjust and operate machines according to production requirements
  • Provide training to equipment operators
  • Complete and submit service reports and all required administrative forms for purchases, payroll, reimbursements, etc.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Electromechanics or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a press brake operator/setter (an asset)
  • Experience programming and operating a Delem controller (an asset)
  • Experience in industrial maintenance or equipment installation (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport
